Transforming White Fragility Into Resilience and Action:
A Workshop

Poughkeepsie Day School
260 Boardman Road
Poughkeepsie, NY 12603
Saturday, September 28, 1-5 pm
Sliding Scale: $40-$100

How can white people build their emotional resilience and be useful in the growing multiracial movement toward social justice?

Embodied Equity Project calls white people together for critical anti-racism, embodied human development, and accountable community practices. Using a unique lens that moves us beyond an intellectual analysis of racism, straight into our bodies, we transform white fragility into grounded resilience and accountable actions to interrupt racism.

This introductory workshop focuses on issues of race, privilege, and oppression through experiential exercises that welcome emotions and complexity. We offer a compassionate and challenging approach to undoing the legacy of racism from the inside out so that we can sustain the struggle toward collective liberation.

This workshop is designed for people who identify as white and all people are welcome.

Space is limited to 30 people and will fill up. Confirm your place today.
